The Institute for Health Policy and Practice, at the University of New Hampshire with the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services presents the Peer Workforce ECHO. The aim of this ECHO series is to cross-train the substance use and mental health peer support workforce across the state of New Hampshire. This ECHO series began its first cohort in February 2024 and will finish two cohorts by August 2024.

Presenter Bios: Randy Stevens, CRSW, CPSS, ADS, TTS is currently the Executive Director at Hope for NH Recovery. Prior to that role, Randy worked for The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester as a Peer Support Specialist for ProHealth, an integrated primary care clinic. He is a Certified Recovery Support Worker, a Certified Peer Support Specialist, an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist, and a Tobacco Treatment Specialist. Randy uses his lived experience of substance use disorder, mental health disorders, trauma history, as well as his history of incarceration to create mutuality and connection with the people he supports to provide hope and encourage engagement in their recovery. He volunteers his time facilitating a weekly health and wellness group for a rehabilitation program called Men’s Therapeutic Community at Strafford County House of Corrections. He has a passion for supporting people in their journey of recovery and plans on completing his Master of Social Work program to further advance his abilities to serve the most vulnerable populations in NH.
