The Institute for Health Policy and Practice, at the University of New Hampshire with the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services presents the Peer Workforce ECHO. The aim of this ECHO series is to cross-train the substance use and mental health peer support workforce across the state of New Hampshire. This ECHO series began its first cohort in February 2024 and will finish two cohorts by August 2024.

Presenter Bios: Eileen Doyle, MST, CRSW, is the Training Coordinator at SOS Recovery Community Organization. A person in long-term recovery and a family member, Eileen facilitates SOS trainings including all the required coursework for CRSWs in NH. She works with SOS RCO Executive Director John Burns to design and update training curriculums offered by SOS, trains SOS employees, and as a CRSW, supports peers.
She has completed Motivational Interviewing trainings with Stephen R. Andrew LCSW, LADC, CCS at the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI), John Gilbert, MS, RD, CCP, RHC-III, ACSM-CEP® at the Institute for Individual and Organizational Change and Jeffery Decker of Telos Motivational Interviewing for Law Enforcement. She also attends the HETI Learning Community.
Eileen earned her Masters of Science for Teachers from the University of NH and a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts/Journalism from Northeastern University. She is a NH Certified Recovery Support Worker and a certified Journaling Instructor through the Therapeutic Writing Institute in Denver.
She leads Journaling Workshops for recovery support workers, cancer survivors and others seeking self-discovery, change and growth. Before joining the field of recovery, she was a high school teacher for 23 years in Haverhill, Mass. and a journalist for 13 years at the Eagle-Tribune in Lawrence, Mass.
