The Critical Dialogue series returns! The inaugural session, Research Centering: Truths and Consequences, kicked off this Dialogue Series on Sept 28th, 2023, with featured guest Dr. Andre M Perry, Author of the book “Know your Price: Valuing Black Lives and Property in America’s Black Cities.” His keynote address was followed by an interview with Melanie Plenda, director of the Granite State News Collaborative. Shantel Palacio, a Ph.D. candidate at UNH's Education Department, moderated it. This event addressed challenges and misconceptions facing researchers. Questions included...For whom is our work centered? Are we asking the “right” questions regarding housing, education, policy, and economics?
