Master in Public Policy (MPP) student Ellie Masson’s passion for criminal justice issues stems from her work as a legal clerk and working closely with criminal defense clients. Another inspiration to pursue this field came after reading Bryan Steven’s Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption.
“As a law clerk, I help manage a caseload of civil lawsuits, such as personal injury and medical malpractice, as well as federal criminal defense cases,” said Ellie. “Being such a small office, I have had the opportunity to be a part of each of these cases from beginning to end of the legal process.”
