The Department of Natural Resources and the Environment (NREN) integrates the applied social sciences and natural resources sciences, enabling a holistic, integrated. and sustainable approach to education, research, and outreach about the use and conservation of resources. NREN is home to seven undergraduate majors, including one two-year associate degree program, ten minors, six graduate programs and one interdisciplinary doctorate program.
