During the COVID-19 pandemic, the health care delivery system in the US rapidly adopted eHealth (i.e., use of information and communication technology for health care) to provide high-quality services in the safest possible environment. Although the advantages of eHealth have been clearly documented, especially for older adults or those in rural areas, eHealth adoption by this most vulnerable population has been slow. This digital divide will lead to worsening health and health care disparities. This study explored older adults' readiness and use of eHealth during the COVID-19 pandemic and investigated multilevel facilitators and barriers to the adoption of eHealth by older adults in Northern New England.
