The Institute for Health Policy and Practice, at the University of New Hampshire with the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services presents the Peer Workforce ECHO. The aim of this ECHO series is to cross-train the substance use and mental health peer support workforce across the state of New Hampshire. This ECHO series began its first cohort in February 2024 and will finish two cohorts by August 2024.

Presenter Bios: Ken Lewis has worked in the field of mental health, substance use disorder, and homelessness for the past 20 years. He is a certified peer support specialist and recovery coach. He currently is the Executive Director of H.E.A.R.T.S Peer Support Center of Greater Nashua. He previously worked as a program coordinator and was promoted to program manager at Connections at Harbor Homes, where he was responsible for the day-to-day supervision and operation of the peer support program at Harbor Homes. He was responsible for evolving the peer support group to become its own independent 501c3 Peer Support Center. Ken is certified as an IPS Facilitator, WRAP Facilitator, and WHAM facilitator. He also has completed a variety of trainings, including Substance Abuse State of New Hampshire Training and Planting Seeds for Health And Wholeness Training
